Calling to awareness
Hello! I am Wojtek.
“W” asks “why”, but in my name sounds like “V” for “vortex”.
My energy draws from a life perspective of a poet, and sociologist, moving across different cultures and fields of human experience, applying social imagination and poetic perceptiveness, making connections, composing relations, revealing emotions, and the why.
Designing experience
Sociology and poetry invite awareness of our emotional relationship with the world, expanding attention, offering a way to understand things, to make our experience with things meaningful. Call it designing experience.
A loose end
Having never neatly followed a single disciplinary track. I came to design from sociology and poetry, which is to say: I was trained to pay attention to what happens between people, and then I got interested in what happens between people and things. I am interested in that gap.
I haven’t given up enthusiasm and hope, facing the world around me with childlike astonishment and curiosity, probing innovation through making awareness of our emotions and relations tangible and disarmingly human.
Call it transformative perspective, call it creative strategy, call it social imagination, call it making room for more possibilities.
